Airport

Nevis Airport / Nevis Airport Transfers

The Nevis Airport is located near Newcastle, on the northern end of the Island. Because of its proximity to the town, the Nevis Airport (NEV) is often referred to as the Newcastle Airport. Located outside of the capital, Charlestown, Nevis Airport has arrivals from intra-island-hopper flights. Arriving at Nevis Airport can only be done in this fashion, as there are no direct flights into Newcastle Airport. The simplest manner is which to reach Nevis Airport is through San Juan, St. Kitts, or Antigua. WinAir, LIAT, and American Eagle are three of the carriers that provide service into Nevis Airport. Nevis Express is an additional service that shuttles to St. Kitts seven times daily from Nevis Airport.

Nevis Airport (NEV)
869.469.9040

Though Nevis Airport is a good way to arrive, some travelers decide to take the ferry from St. Kitts. Communications

Nevis Villa Rentals Communications

Nevis Villa rentals are well equipped to keep in touch with the outside world. Telecommunications networks on the island are modern and efficient, working in much the same manner as US phones. Nightlife

Nevis Nightlife

From simple beach bars to the Four Seasons resort, Nevis nightlife is varied and fun. Many expect Nevis nightlife to be a bit slow, but there is much to find on this small island. While you won’t find the normal American clubs, there is much to the nightlife of Nevis to keep you entertained.

Enjoy a few of the local Nevis nightlife spots.

Cover Point Bar
Also known as Ruthie’s, this Nevis nightlife spot is just off the main road leaving town (across from the grocery). Car rental

Nevis Car Rentals

Nevis car rentals offer an easy and reliable way to travel around the island. Taxi’s are not widely available on Nevis, as they concentrate their efforts around Charlestown and Newcastle, around the airport. The areas that are near the villas are a bit remote and even local taxi drivers may not necessarily know their way around, especially to a privately named home. Cabs may be called from the villas by telephone, but even then, directions are difficult to give to the companies. Bus lines provide an alternate mode of transportation, though their schedules are finicky and can be a bit unpredictable during the nighttime. Nevis car rentals provide a quicker and safer alternative to these public transports and add the ability for day travel to guest’s stays.

Nevis car rentals may be obtained from several companies on-island. To be able to drive a Nevis car rental, a temporary permit is necessary that may be purchased through Nevis car rental agencies (around $8). If Nevis car rentals are not appealing, there are other opportunities to rent smaller motorized vehicles (scooters or bikes), but please remember to wear a helmet.

Nevis Car Rental:
As Nevis rental villas do not have access to a cab service, we highly recommend renting a car to complement your Nevis villa rental vacations.

Weddings

Nevis Weddings

Nevis Island offers an easy way to say your Caribbean I-do’s. Relaxed requirements make Nevis weddings available to many couples. Nevis weddings have the luxury of a stunningly beautiful natural backdrop, rolling hills fall away into blazing Caribbean sunsets and warm off-shore breezes. Couples can choose to organize a large Four Seasons Nevis wedding, though weddings in Nevis need not be a grandiose event. A simple beachfront Nevis wedding may be just the atmosphere you are looking for.

An $80 fee follows a residency requirement of two business days on the Island to be able to hold a Nevis wedding. This licensing fee for a Nevis wedding may be reduced if your planned stay is extended past the two day requirement. Valid forms of ID (passport of birth certificate) must be presented in order to facilitate a Nevis wedding.

Requirements:
1.)
